Septic shock is a major cause of mortality, especially among patients who need continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). A new study compared two widely used extracorporeal blood purification strategies (CytoSorb^Ⓡand oXiris^Ⓡ). Both strategies showed comparable clinical outcomes.
