Osaka Metropolitan University researchers conducted a scoping review to identify radiology studies validating commercially available medical AI products and to note reporting trends for sex, age, and ethnic demographic subgroups.

A recent study in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior (JNEB), published by Elsevier, explored elementary school teachers' experiences before and after the end of the federal universal free school meals (UFSM) policy. Researchers found that teachers perceived the policy had helped reduce student hunger and family stress, while its expiration was associated with increased hunger, anxiety about meal costs, and decreased participation in school meal programs.

The European Expectations Center (EEC), led by economist and recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Professorship Michael Weber, examines how households, firms, and financial market participants form expectations about economic developments and how these expectations influence economic behavior. 

Robots often learn from historical experience collected under older controllers and physical conditions. When tasks, hardware or environments change, that data can become misleading. Researchers developed Occupancy-Matching Policy Optimization (OMPO), which anchors large replay buffers to a small set of recent interactions. Across locomotion, transfer, manipulation and a real-robot test, OMPO improved stability, sample efficiency and adaptation.
