Media Alert: Pre-Conference Symposiums to focus on stroke and brain health-related issues on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the eve of the International Stroke Conference in New Orleans Feb. 4-6, 2026.

André Loesekrug-Pietri, Chairman and Scientific Director of the Joint European Disruptive Initiative (JEDI), the European ARPA, today announced the launch of the "JEDI Draghi Tracker," a quarterly progress report measuring Europe's implementation of the Draghi report on competitiveness. The announcement was made during a session at Science House, held on the Davos Promenade during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026. The tracker aims to empower policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to move from discussion to action on innovation and competitiveness across Europe.

Frontiers Science House Day 2–3 programs spotlighted urgent global risks and practical, science-led solutions – from antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and trust in science to AI-enabled sustainable cities and cancer research in microgravity.

Genisys AI today announced the launch of AI Polis, a pioneering AI-powered platform that helps cities plan and scale sustainable, people-centered growth. The announcement was made during a session at the Frontiers Science House, taking place on the Davos Promenade alongside the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026.

At Frontiers Science House, Vanina Laurent Ledru, Chief Public Health and Government Affairs Officer of Institut Merieux and bioMerieux, warned that antimicrobial resistance (AMR) will be the next “pandemic” like COVID-19, killing more people than cancer by 2050. Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; and Adèle James, Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of Phagos, urged immediate global action against AMR.

This is the conference of the SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing. 

Frontiers Science House officially opened Monday in Davos corresponding with the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026. The week-long program places transformative, open science back at the heart of global dialogue and decision-making amid rapidly evolving geopolitical, economic, technological, and environmental challenges.
