The Acoustical Society of America will host a virtual conference from Nov. 18-22.
The Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum, Europe’s first major conference dedicated to empowering and celebrating marginalised and underrepresented communities in the life sciences, will take place at the ICC Birmingham from March 31 to April 2, 2025. Launching during Black History Month, the event will feature over 200 hours of talks, workshops, and mentoring sessions, addressing systemic barriers like unconscious bias and lack of mentorship that hinder career progression for minoritised scientists.
A unique group of life science professionals and advocates has come together to launch the Minoritised Life Scientists Future Forum, the first major conference in Europe dedicated to supporting and showcasing the contributions of marginalised and underrepresented communities in the life sciences.
Renowned researchers will address the challenges related to the demand of resilient infrastructures in the face of climate change and its impact on the built environment; registrations are due on November 19, 2024.
