The more time you spend on social media, the likelier you are to have come across a viral post that seems too strange to be true. Brief scientific literacy interventions, especially those that focus on critical thinking skills, may help to undermine conspiracy beliefs and behaviors before the conspiracy theories have a chance to take root, according to a team led by Penn State researchers.

The ESE Curriculum has been developed by ESE in collaboration with the Section and Board of Endocrinology of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). It outlines a six-year training programme, which includes one to three years of general internal medicine followed by three to five years of specialised training in endocrinology. It also specifies the skills and behaviours expected from an endocrinologist and provides recommendations on the duration and structure of training, the governance of training, including assessment, and the requirements for trainers and training centres. The ESE Curriculum replaces the previous curricula formulated by ESE (last updated in 2019) and the UEMS Training Requirement (published in 2018).
