A large Chinese research team has developed an air quality model called EPICC (Emission and atmospheric Processes Integrated and Coupled Community Model) that demonstrates improved accuracy in its representations of ozone and particulate matter with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less.

The dry Martian climate makes the planet prone to large, planetary-scale dust storms that could jeopardize costly research and exploration missions. A team of scientists recently developed the GoMars Mars General Circulation Model to simulate 50 years of Martian dust cycles. Ultimately, refinements to this model will help researchers better predict large-scale Martian dust storms and optimize mission launch windows.

This work provides a practical strategy to improve the stability of efficient SAM-based devices on rough substrates, advancing the commercialization of inverted perovskite and tandem solar cells.
