Fig. 2. Fully-stabilized dual microcombs drive 108 sensors. We successfully achieved locking of both the pump frequency and comb repetition rates using a single pump and two separate nitride microrings. The full stabilization is controlled by our chip-integrated FPGA. After stabilization, the instantaneous linewidth of each comb line reaches sub-Hz levels, while the single-second stability of every comb line achieves a level of 10⁻¹². As a result, the synchronized comb source can simultaneously drive over 100 sensors.
