MONTREAL – APRIL 25, 2026 – The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (SCAI) today announced the recipients of its annual “30 in Their 30s” awards, honoring early-career interventional cardiologists who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership, and dedication to the field. The honorees will be recognized during the SCAI 2026 Scientific Sessions & CAIC-ACCI Summit, held April 23–25, in Montréal, Canada.
“The 30 in Their 30s program highlights the extraordinary talent and dedication of early-career interventional cardiologists who are already making meaningful contributions to patient care, research, and education,” said SCAI President Srihari S. Naidu, MD, MSCAI. “Supporting physicians early in their careers is one of SCAI’s core priorities, and this recognition reflects our commitment to mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our field.”
Eligible applicants must be SCAI members who are 39 or younger as of May 3, 2025, or who can demonstrate a non-linear career path. Successful nominees may serve as practice-based learners, educators, researchers, mentors, or communicators, and must embody SCAI’s Code of Ethics and commitment to systems-based practice.
