At the invitation of Professor Sergio Bernardini, Secretary General of the International Society of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of LMD, the LMD team appeared at the 2025 IFCC Annual Meeting in Brussels, Belgium. There, they jointly exhibited with international authoritative journals such as Clinica Chimica Acta and Journal of Mass Spectrometry & Advances in the Clinical Lab, jointly creating a high-end academic platform in the field of laboratory medicine.
At the IFCC International Conference, LabMed Discovery significantly expanded its international influence. Through booth interactions, real-time promotional activities, and in-depth exchanges with editorial board members, the journal attracted the attention of hundreds of scholars worldwide—substantially increasing its pool of potential authors, reviewers, and editorial resources. In a special meeting with Editor-in-Chief Professor Khosrow Adeli and Elsevier Publishing Director Manon Burger, the team reached a strategic consensus on optimizing the editorial structure and improving manuscript quality, also successfully inviting several leading international scholars to join its editorial board. Additionally, by actively participating in multiple high-level academic sessions, the team gained insight into the latest global research trends in laboratory medicine, providing valuable input for future topic planning and helping position the journal at the forefront of the field.
