Atmospheric temperature and water vapor concentration for various altitudes and geographic latitudes. The arrows indicate the direction of blowing winds, with arrow thickness indicating wind intensity. The so-called isothermal lines in figure 3c connect the dots with similar temperatures (see the number attached to the line). In figure 3d, the numbers at isothermal lines show the difference between the temperature during a dust storm and the regular temperature.
