Perspectives on extreme heat

Three overarching themes emerged from interviews with people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Salt Lake City: Health; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) and Shade; and Security and Displacement. These themes highlight how extreme heat, access to basic resources, and displacement affect daily survival in public spaces. (October report, based on preliminary results currently being prepared for publication.)
