Hardware-in-the-loop emulation of delay-induced transitions between amplitude and sustained oscillations (IMAGE)

A digital–analog hybrid hardware-in-the-loop platform is used to validate the predicted transition between amplitude death and sustained oscillations. The experimental system implements a 50-node oscillator network, and the measured voltage waveforms reproduce the transition as network complexity and propagation delay vary.
