(a)The bifurcation structure reveals the emergence of localized oscillatory patterns through the interaction of Turing and Hopf instabilities. Starting from a spatially homogeneous state, the system develops homogeneous oscillations and localized steady-state patterns before secondary Hopf instabilities generate localized oscillations. (b-e) Representative patterns are shown for each dynamical regime.
