Stowers Institute Investigator and AI Initiative lead Julia Zeitlinger, Ph.D. (right), and Bioinformatics Scientist Melanie Weilert (left) work together in the Zeitlinger Lab. Zeitlinger and Weilert contributed foundational biology expertise to the AlphaGenome Atlas collaboration, helping explore what the AI-powered resource can reveal about the regulatory DNA sequences that control gene activity. Weilert served as a lead author on the AlphaGenome Atlas project.
