The figure shows micro-computed tomography, or a microscopic X-ray, of the regenerated bone taken by the research team. The top row of photos was taken at week three, and the bottom row was taken six weeks after implantation. The far right photo shows the regenerated bone facilitated by spheroids containing a combination of stem cells, which demonstrated higher bone density and bone coverage than tissues containing no spheroids.
