Narwale – auch «Einhörner der Meere» genannt: Ihre langen Stosszähne faszinieren die Menschen seit Jahrhunderten. Nun hat ein internationales Forschungsteam mithilfe von Röntgenlicht erstmals die innere Struktur dieses einzigartigen Zahns sichtbar gemacht – von der Nanometer- bis zur Zentimeterskala.
