Torne Tänzer und Marianne Liebi an der Synchrotron Lichtquelle Schweiz SLS am PSI. Hier konnten sie erstmals die Nanostruktur von Oberschenkelhalsknochen sichtbar machen. Dies könnte helfen zu verstehen, weshalb dieses Knochenstück vergleichsweise häufig bricht.
