頭部上げ、頭部下げ姿勢時に見られる頭部安定化行動とその回路メカニズム

頭部上げ姿勢時に、魚は胴体を腹側に屈曲させる(Ventral flexion)ことで、わずかではあるが頭部を安定化させる。同様に、頭部下げ姿勢次には、胴体を背側に屈曲させる(Dorsal flexion)ことで、頭部を安定化させる。頭部上げ傾斜時の腹側屈曲はオレンジで示す回路（前庭神経核〜網様体脊髄路ニューロン〜脊髄運動ニューロン〜腹側特殊筋）で引き起こされ、頭部下げ傾斜時の背側屈曲は緑で示す回路（前庭神経核〜脊髄運動ニューロン〜背側特殊筋）で引き起こされる。
