Outfitted with more than 400 sensors, the BOLT II flight experiment led by Texas A&M University launched from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility on March 22nd, 2022. It’s aim: to capture data on how smooth surfaces and surfaces with tiny bumps can develop turbulent flow.
