Opistophthalmus latro scorpion (IMAGE)
Caption
Peninsular Burrowing Scorpion (Opistophthalmus latro). The burrowing scorpions use their large and durable pedipalps (pincers) to dig burrows. They are less venemous than fattail scorpions and rely more on their large pinchers to crush prey.
