[Figure 2] Flexibility and dual radiation shielding performance that remain effective even in extreme environments (IMAGE)
Caption
This material features a structure in which carbon nanotubes envelop boron nitride nanotubes, effectively shielding against both electromagnetic waves and neutrons simultaneously. Electromagnetic waves are attenuated through internal reflection and absorption, while neutrons are blocked by reacting with boron. Furthermore, it maintains its performance from ultra-low temperatures of -196°C to high temperatures of 250°C, and its functionality remains stable even after repeated deformation, significantly improving its versatility compared to existing materials.
