New Jersey’s Environmental Justice Mapping, Assessment and Protection Tool, or EJMAP, helps state officials evaluate when a community is facing outsized environmental burdens. This evaluation considers not only socioeconomic factors and environmental stressors, but also the cumulative number of stressors.
