Far-Field Single-Shot Binary Imaging (IMAGE)
Caption
According to a new study, spatial information can be encoded through narrow linewidth resonances based on bound-state-in-the-continuum (BIC) physics, which allows the metasurface to enhance local fields, enabling near-field distributed sensing. The study reports that this novel technology is able to achieve 100% accurate binary image reconstruction from a single terahertz pulse.
