Interferon therapy shows acceptable safety in hepatitis B cirrhosis

In patients with compensated cirrhosis, pegylated interferon-alpha (Peg-IFN-α) therapy demonstrated a comparable safety profile to nucleos(t)ide analog therapy, with no increase in decompensation or treatment-related hospitalizations.
