Researchers evaluated pegylated interferon-alpha (Peg-IFN-α) therapy in patients with Child-Pugh class A cirrhosis and found no higher risk of liver decompensation or severe adverse events compared to standard nucleos(t)ide analog treatment over 48 weeks.
