The reliability of R-matrix analysis is primarily determined by the consistency between the calculated fits and the experimental data. The RAC program employs the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method to simultaneously fit all experimental data for a compound nuclear system, ultimately yielding a comprehensive and internally self-consistent dataset.
