The PH-PSD two dimensional spectra of a CLYC detector (a) and an EJ309 liquid scintillation detector (b).

Caption

The PSD performance of the 8 CLYC detectors and the 16 liquid scintillation detectors used in the experiment was excellent. By applying optimal discrimination thresholds, the event types (γ-ray or neutron) could be accurately identified.
