At Sanaga-Yong Sanctuary, a team of technicians and veterinarians from this sanctuary and from Ape Action Africa, both centres coordinated by the Pan African Sanctuary Alliance, examine a chimpanzee undergoing long-term rehabilitation after being rescued from trafficking. These experts must be prepared to handle every individual and every case resulting from trafficking and poaching.
