Mechanistic scheme of TUG1 in chondrosarcoma. (IMAGE)
Caption
TUG1 recruited ALYREF to maintain the stability of EZH2 by DNMT3B-mediated m5C modification. As a result, TUG1 facilitated the expression of EZH2, led to the repression of CPEB1 via H3K27me3 methylation, and ultimately promoted the progression of chondrosarcoma cells. Meanwhile, exosome-derived TUG1 transferred to tumor-associated macrophages and induced M2 polarization, thus, accelerating the progression of chondrosarcoma.
