Pietro Genovese, PhD, is a principal investigator at the Gene Therapy Program of Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorder Center and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He has been awarded a $450,000 grant from Swim Across America for novel gene and base editing techniques used in advanced cancer research, including targeted therapies, immunotherapies and cellular therapies.
