Fig. 1: Euchromatic regions exhibit greater nucleosome motion, whereas heterochromatic regions show more restricted motion. These nucleosome dynamics facilitate chromatin accessibility to large proteins (purple), which in turn help regulate key genomic processes such as DNA replication and transcription.
