Therapeutic efficacy of the peptide in a mouse model of dry AMD.

(A) Evaluation of therapeutic effects by administering the peptide as eye drops to mice with induced dry AMD. (B) In control mice with AMD, black drusen accumulation and atrophy and deformation of the retinal pigment epithelium were observed. In contrast, peptide-treated mice showed retinal protection comparable to normal mice.
