Immune cell composition in lungs invaded by metastatic melanoma following treatment with immunomodulatory ligands only (current standard of care) or EV-based delivery of immunomodulatory ligands. EV-based delivery significantly altered immune cell composition, increasing the proportion of key anti-tumor immune cells including cytotoxic T-cells (red) and helper T-cells (blue) while concurrently decreasing the frequency of tumour cells (black).
