These remotely detected MRI images illustrate the flow of water through a constricted microfluidic channel. Each image is a "snapshot" of the flow at a given time of flight, and the images are shown as two-dimensional projections of the YZ (top) and XZ (lower) planes, where the constriction is in Y and the overall flow along Z.
