Zero Gravity Graphene - Loop Heat Pipe (VIDEO) Graphene Flagship This video is under embargo. Please login to access this video. Caption The Graphene Flagship's #ZeroGGraphene experiments show graphene's promise for space applications! Working with the European Space Agency, the Graphene Flagship tested graphene-coated loop heat pipes in zero gravity. The graphene-coatings improved the performance of loop heat pipes, used as cooling systems in satellites. Researchers experienced weightlessness in parabolic flights, to perform experiments in space-like microgravity conditions. The experiments were performed by researchers from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), University of Cambridge (UK), Consiglio Nazionale delle Richerche (Italy) and Leonardo (Italy) with support from the European Space Agency and Novespace.
