Figure 1 | Simultaneous localization and 3D mapping method flowchart. During freehand scanning, photoacoustic vascular signals are reconstructed into sequential 3D point clouds, which are registered and fused to estimate the probe trajectory and generate a real-time panoramic vascular map for surgical navigation.
