Ultrasound-responsive micro/nanorobots for bladder cancer therapy (IMAGE)
Caption
The HH/B‑DM4‑NT platform integrates bacterial collagenolysis, ligand‑guided targeting, cytoskeleton disruption, and sonodynamic immunotherapy. HH bacteria degrade ECM via collagenases; surface NT targets NTS1‑overexpressing bladder cancer cells. BFO nanoparticles generate ROS and ICD under ultrasound, while DM4 disrupts tumor structure. This approach induces cell death and immune activation, overcomes stromal barriers, and improves targeting, representing a potential strategy for NMIBC therapy.
