Microflow-type light-induced acceleration system for rapid and sensitive disease biomarker detection

Antibody-coated microscopic beads are introduced into a tiny flow channel containing blood plasma. Laser irradiation enhances their interaction with CEACAM-5, a colorectal cancer biomarker, causing the beads to assemble and generate a detectable signal.
