Figure 1. The scheme of an asynchronous multiuser quantum conferencing network. Three users transmit optical pulses to a shared detection node: a Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger measurement station, where a triangular multipath interferometer combines signals from all users and records detection events. Asynchronous pairing and classical post-processing allow the users to establish secure conference keys.
