Double methylation of the A‑site cation transforms DAP‑DM4 from a 3D framework into a 1D‑chain architecture. Dimethyl passivation removes labile N‑H sites for a 373.5 °C decomposition temperature, while 1D interchain slippage raises its friction‑sensitivity to 54 N.
