Global map Children exposed to climate change driven heat stress

Caption

Children affected by climate-driven heat stress around the world. The color of the map shows the number of additional heat stress days per year occurring today due to human-induced climate change; the size of the circle shows the percentage of the population in each AR6 land region that is aged 0-9. This is a supplementary figure to the press release that accompanies the study "Age-specific exposure to human-induced increases in humid heat".
