Researchers survey One Tree Reef on the Great Barrier Reef

Members of the Geocoastal Research Group surveying One Tree Reef in November 2025. A measuring tape is laid across the reef and photographs are taken at fixed points along it. These images are used to calculate the percentage of the seafloor covered by living coral and other reef organisms.
