This study led by researchers from the Clinical Neuroscience Consortium and the Hong Kong Genome Institute achieves a major breakthrough in brain cancer research by developing the most comprehensive map to date of isoform diversity in glioblastoma. The study reveals a new source of potential therapeutic targets, including candidates that could be harnessed for future personalised cancer vaccines and immunotherapies. The research team members include Dr Aya El Helali (first right, front row), Dr Brian Chung Hon-yin (first left, front row) and Professor Gilberto Leung Ka-kit (first left, back row).
