Zbtb38 regulates cell survival through transcriptional activation of XIAP

Zbtb38 promotes cell survival by activating X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein (XIAP) transcription, leading to the suppression of caspase-3-dependent apoptosis. Reduced Zbtb38 decreases XIAP expression and enhances apoptosis.
