The study reviewed clinical studies evaluating contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) as a noninvasive method for assessing portal hypertension in cirrhosis. With fatty liver disease rising in China, where approximately 6.83 million people live with cirrhosis, CEUS could become an important tool for long-term disease monitoring.
