Figure 1. High-power PCSSs, as key devices in HPM systems, can be used for low-altitude security protection in civil airports and other critical infrastructure. This work uses Ga2O3 with high voltage-withstanding advantages to fabricate PCSSs and achieves a voltage conversion efficiency as high as 98.93% based on the phonon-assisted absorption mechanism.
