Flow diversion devices are a safe long-term treatment for intracranial aneurysms

Long-term follow-up of patients with intracranial aneurysms treated with flow diversion devices showed a low rate of complications and high rates of occlusion maintenance. Complications are very rare beyond 18 months post-surgery.
