Southern Resident killer whales share busy waterways with cargo ships, passenger ferries and a host of other vessels in British Columbia's Salish Sea. HALLO is an AI-based system that will predict when whales are moving into shipping lanes, so vessel pilots can implement dynamic slowdowns to reduce noise pollution.
