GADD45B promotes apoptosis in intestinal ischemia/reperfusion through DNA demethylation of MST1/Hippo (IMAGE)
Caption
Intestinal I/R upregulates the expression of GADD45B, which subsequently interacts with TET1 to activate MST1 gene transcription through DNA demethylation in the promoter region. MST1 further activates the Hippo pathway, thereby exacerbating apoptosis induced by intestinal I/R. Figure was created with FigDraw (www.figdraw.com).
