This research provides insights into the complexities of fire management from a biodiversity perspective, investigating faunal and floral diversity of Banksia aemula low open woodland ecosystems. This research provides an important biodiversity baseline for the dominant ecosystem on World Heritage-listed K'gari, with 57 flora species and 28 vertebrate fauna species.
